Carissa is a black widow, a woman who moves from husband to husband, bumping them off once they have heavily insured themselves in her favour. She has had a good run for the past five years, ever since she ratted out her partner and sent her to prison. Now the partner (Scarlett) is back, and she is looking for revenge. She enters Carissa's the house and ties her up and settling down to await the arrival of Carissa's latest husband.  When he arrives, the husband does not believe Scarlett's story. Now the roles are reversed with Carissa tying up Scarlett. In her husband's absence, Carissa whispers that she is going to get rid of Scarlett, under the guise of driving the girl to the police station herself. It looks as if the black widow is going to betray her old colleague for the second and last time.
