Anna is house sitting for a couple away on vacation, and is on the phone to a friend about going out to the club for a date. The pets can look after themselves for a few hours, even though she is not supposed to leave them unattended. Just after she ends the call, Anna hears a sound apparently coming from her office. She goes to investigate, looking puzzled as she enters the room because she can see nothing amiss. She does not hear the man approach her from behind, but she jumps when she feels something hard pressed against her back. Speaking in a quiet voice, the man tells her not to do anything stupid and makes her walk backwards out of the room. We join Anna again where she is already strapped and tied to a bed and demanding to know what is going on. The man reveals that he is there to rob the place, and he needs to make sure she will not raise the alarm as soon as he leaves. She continues to object until he gags her with duct tape and leaves her to struggle. Anna desperately tries to pull free of the cuffs holding her wrists, but they will not yield. With the house owners away from several weeks and with no one expected to call, she could be lying there restrained for quite some time.
