Detective Vonka Romanov is in the house believed to have been occupied by a terrorist cell. Of course, her department should have notified Homeland Security about their findings, but over the years they have grown sick of the Feds always taking credit for their work. And so Detective Romanov is sent in to have a look around to determine if there is any need to send in a team. Before she can make contact, however, she is grabbed and tied up, her wrists and ankles bound with rope. A cloth is stuffed into her mouth and a gag is tied around her head. When her captor leaves her alone for a few minutes, Vonka makes her way to what looks like a work area and finds a pair of cutters. She starts work on the rope binding her ankles and even manages to fray it before she is caught in the act. Her captor observes that he clearly did not secure her well enough, but promises that he has a solution for that. Now Vonka finds herself handcuffed and chained to a chair, her range of motion highly restricted. Before leaving the house for good, her captor gags her with duct tape. Alone again, the detective scoots her chair back to the work area. Most of the tools have been removed. She looks disappointed. Looking around for any further hope of escape, she realizes that the man forgot to take her cell phone; it's sitting on the kitchen counter! If she could only reach it. If she could only nudge it onto the floor, there is the slightest chance that she could use it to call for help.
