Anna sits at the breakfast table ready for work, reading the news on her iPad. She sees an article about top secret plans having be stolen from the government and smiles sardonically, muttering that it will be no good to leave this problem to regular law enforcement. She peels off her business suit and blouse to reveal her lavender leotard, and dons her mask and utility belt, assuming the identity of The Violet Avenger.

It does not take long for the Violet Avenger to track down the hideout of the guilty party. She enters the house and begin searching for the missing data, but before she gets very far into her search she hears the sound of a car pulling up outside. She hides behind the front door and confronts the thief as he enters. With him out of the way, all she needs now is gather the evidence to establish his guilt. She searches one of the computers in his office and is just booting up the second when the bad guy creeps into the room behind her and presses a cloth over our unsuspecting superheroine's nose and mouth.

The Violet Avenger wakes to find herself tied to a pole in the basement, ropes coiled around her ankles, knees, thighs, waist and shoulders. Her captor has also tied a ball gag in her mouth, rendering her literally speechless. She struggles with her bonds, but before she can make any progress, her captor arrives to remove her mask and her utility belt, exposing her identity. He takes pleasure in explaining to her that the story about stolen data published on the Internet was merely a ruse to lure her out. Now he has her captured, and his boss will soon arrive to take care of her. Left alone again, The Violet Avenger continues to struggle with the ropes holding her, but they are too tight and she can't get free. Her captor returns again, saying that his boss has arrived but he does not want the avenger to see his face. Anna is then blindfolded and left alone to await her fate. Right at the end, her captor returns for the final time, a rag and a bottle of clear liquid in his hands. He douses the rag and presses it over his prisoner's nose and mouth, making her sleep for the second time, ready for transportation.
