Agent Jade has tracked down a known felon. She is watching the house where he is hiding from a distance. She is trying to call the Bureau to call for backup, but her cell signal is very patchy at best. She then loses the signal all together. Rather than risk losing the felon, she decides to enter the house on her own. She crosses the snowy ground approaching the building and finds a way in through a back door. Once inside, she starts looking for the occupant, but he finds her first. He sneaks up behind her, places a cloth over her nose and mouth, and restrains her struggles until she sinks to the floor. He grabs her ankles and drags her limp body through into the living room where he ties her wrists together behind her back. Cut to later, where Monica recovers to find herself in a very extensive set of robs, lying on the floor in a hogtie. Realizing the danger she is in, she immediately begins to struggle, but the numerous ropes are tight, and most of them are completely out of her reach. She is really in big trouble. Her situation worsens when the felon arrives with a rag to stuff in her mouth and a gag to keep it there. He laughs at Agent Jade's rookie attempts to catch him, but is nevertheless interested in how she located him. When she refuses to answer, he uses the gags, telling her he will leave her tied up like this for several hours until she feels like answering his question, then departs. When he has gone, Monica renews her struggles with the ropes securing her, but she has been too well trussed up and can't make any progress on escaping. Will her colleagues be able to locate her in the cellphone black spot? Or will she remain alone at the mercy of the man she has been hunting?
