Kate arrives home from the office and encounters an armed man in her home. She wants to know who he is and what he is doing there, but he is not willing to share. Instead, he makes her kneel down and then ties her wrists together behind her back. He binds her elbows before forcing her to lie down, enabling him to bind her ankles and then put her in a hogtie. He pushes a ball gag into Kate's mouth and leaves her for a bit to struggle. When he returns, he briefly removes the ball gag to question her about her safe, then pushes the ball back into her mouth. Unable to see behind her, Kate feels for the knots keeping the rope so tightly wound about her wrists, but the intruder has placed them out of her reach.
