Amanda is believed to be in possession of an incriminating recording which she may use to gain leniency from the authorities, but her former bosses would rather that recording was never heard by anyone, ever again. Amanda has been captured and made to drive to a quiet spot, far from anywhere. She is given one last chance to reveal the location of the recording before stronger measures are taken to make her talk, but she insists that she knows nothing about any recording. As a means of persuasion, Amanda is suspended by her wrists under a wooden deck, the straps supporting her padlocked to a chain so there is no hope of escape. When the chair she is standing on is pulled away and Amanda's is supporting her weight, she sways back and forth, still protesting her ignorance of any recording. It looks as if she might be dangling there for quite some time...
