Jamie feels that she has been working very hard at Dave's Construction, doing a lot of overtime, so she decides to ask for a raise. Dave refuses, pointing out that she would not have to do so much overtime if she was not so slow at her job. Jamie is outraged, and in the heat of the moment tells Dave that maybe he should not have let her handle his personal accounts because she now knows about his dirty little secrets. Dave leaves the room leaving Jamie quietly fuming. She believes he has gone to get his checkbook to bribe her to keep quiet, but instead he returns with a cloth which he presses over Jamie's nose and mouth. The girl struggles, trying to claw Dave's hand away from her face, but he is too strong and Jamie soon slips into oblivion. When she wakes, she discovers that her wrists and ankles have been bound with duct tape, and that Dave is just about to gag her with more of the same. She tries to fight him off but there is nothing she can do to stop him applying several strips of very sticky duct tape over her mouth. Dave leaves the room again, wondering what he is going to do about this troublesome secretary. Jamie, who is not going down without a fight, works her way over to the iron wood stove and begins sawing at the tape binding her wrists on the corner of one of the stove's leg. She works furiously, aware that she must escape before Dave decides to take more drastic action. Just when she thinks the tape will never part, it finally does! She ungags herself and unwraps the tape binding her ankles, then makes a run for her car. Alas, Dave is already there, planning to move the vehicle somewhere more discrete. He forces Jamie back into the house, makes her remove her blouse and put on a sexy sweater so that he can photograph her. he has decided that his only solution is to sell Jamie to a human trafficker to get her out of the country. He ties her to a chair and cleave gags her, letting her know when he receives an acceptable offer for her. Now it is just a matter of time before the van arrives to take her away.
