Detective Anna Lee is visiting the home of a man who performs a magic show at a local nightclub because some of his patrons have reported that valuables used in the magic tricks were swapped for imitations. Anna accuses the man of being a fraud and is clearly planning to arrest him when he asks her if she believes him to be a fraud. When she says yes, he offers to demonstrate his ability to hypnotize her with nothing more than a swinging gold pocket watch. Anna smiles skeptically and plays along with the man's little game, just for a minute to prove her point... except, she slips under his influence without even realizing it. The magician tells the now-suggestible Anna that she enjoys bondage and manipulates her into asking to be tied up. Naturally, the man obliges. So begins a long tying session which results in Anna being thoroughly bound with rope, lots of it! The magician finally brings her out of her trance, and when she starts complaining about what he has done to her he cleaves her teeth with a gag. He says he will place her in a deep state of hypnosis so that she can't even remember meeting him, but explains that he is unable to do this immediately because he has a show in just half an hour. He departs leaving Anna bound and gagged to await his attentions when he returns.
