Carissa enters her living room, unaware that a man dressed all in black in sneaking up behind her. He grabs her, presses a cloth over her mouth and holds on to her as she sinks to the floor. When she recovers, Carissa finds the man in the process of tying her up. She is already helpless and her struggles are futile. She says she won't make any noise but the man gags her anyway. The man in black goes into another part of the house, and Carissa immediately takes the opportunity to work her way towards the door. Before she can get to it, however, the man returns and wags a finger at her for trying to escape. He drags her across the floor and seats her on a chair, tying her to it so that she can't move around any more. By the time he has finished, Carissa is firmly secured to the chair and completely helpless.
