Amanda has an amazing scoop regarding the misappropriation of funds in a Fortune-500 company and is rushing to finish her expose for her paper. The deadline is looming and she is working from home, so she must hit the send key soon if the article is to appear the following day. When she hears an unfamiliar noise in the house, she decides to take a moment to investigate. This turns out to be a mistake. When she emerges from her office she is grabbed from behind by a masked man, who presses a cloth over her nose and mouth and makes her inhale what is on it. Amanda flails around for a few seconds and then falls limp in the man's arms. He lowers her to the floor, drags her back into her office by her ankles, and places her in a very tight hogtie. When Amanda groggily recovers, the man tells her that he has deleted the expose from her computer, but now he wants to know about any backups. Amanda insists that they're are not any but the man does not believe her. While he waits for her to see reason, he stuffs a cloth into her mouth and seals it in with a cleave gag before leaving her to struggle helplessly against the tight, cutting ropes. She curses under her breath: she has a story that will make her career, but now she won't be able to publish it! She certainly can't get free of the tight hogtie the masked man has placed her in. What is she going to do?
